Swedish multi-instrumentalist Blameful Isles returns with his next full length LP, Ereeséon. The album, written during a period of intense transition, marks an abrupt change in Blameful Isle's sound. Where his previous work was rooted in spiritual jazz, Ereeséon takes root in the sound of late 80s and early 90s IDM and the golden age of electronic music.
Created fully with hardware sequencers and all analog gear, Blameful worked within the restraints of this minimal setup to push his music as far as he could. By forcing himself into a new and uncertain creative realm, the resulting music is mysterious, minimalistic and intensely emotional in its simplicity, echoing the artist's experience while preparing for fatherhood. Ereeséon explores themes of innocence, nostalgia and exploration; a monumental work sure to please listeners of all varieties.

(track 3) Tribute to Rei

Tribute to Rei is at the peak of what you would consider the upbeat part of the new album titled “Ereeséon” by Swedish composer Blameful Isles. As soon as you get into the song it will take you on a trip filled with electronic bleeps and enthralling percussions. The song is full of hope and joy with a vibrant organic feel. Tribute to Rei is a wholesome experience that is a great interest catcher for the rest of the album which is truly impressive in its entirety.

(track 4) Eranikus

Eranikus is like a jazz song written by an Artificial Intelligence. As you start listening, the song will grab you and take you along, liberating your mind and thoughts into an electronic landscape made of pixels that slowly start to get into focus as you approach them. Soon enough you’ll find yourself meditating and vibing to the music that recalls to the golden era of electronic music.

(track 6) Lovebeam

Lovebeam is a standout track midway through the album, featuring a tender and emotional chord sequence accented by upbeat drum machines and childlike, meandering acid basslines, perfect for both the dancefloor or a moment of calm contemplation.

(track 10) Yuki (Kensho)

On Yuki (Kensho) we invited Dutch violinist and composer to collaborate and add in her special touch. As you listen you’ll be taken by feelings you didn’t know (or forgot) where there in the first place. The song is very emotional and deep. As it transcends the norm, you’ll find yourself enchanted by this incredible ambient atmosphere.

Needless to say, the remaining 6 tracks are as powerful as the 4 tracks mentioned above. We wanted to keep a little bit of mystery behind the album during the pre-order period and also it fits well with the evasive and mysterious ghost vibe.

The full album will be released on July 27th, and you'll be able to really comprehend the full concept and narrative behind "Ereeséon". As a mythical beast, the album is a unique perspective into analog and handcrafted electronic music. The entire album is organic and sequenced all trough incredible musical machinery. Not a single vst or software was used here. From production to mastering it's all but pure analog craziness. So what better format than the vinyl to listen to the album. We've listened to the test pressing already and there's something magical happening there. This album is really a must have on vinyl.
